Dr Mark Lewis
(FRACS, CSSANZ)
Mark Lewis trained at Guys and St Thomas Hospitals in London before undertaking surgical training in London and the Flinders Medical Centre to attain fellowship of the Royal College of Surgeons of England. He completed specialist colorectal training with a Laparoscopic Surgical fellowship at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital, Adelaide before returning to a consultant post in the UK in 2008 where he worked as a colorectal and general surgeon.
Mark was appointed to the Royal Adelaide Hospital as a Colorectal Surgeon in 2014. He is a fellow of the Royal Australian College of Surgeons, a Member of the Colorectal Surgical Society of Australia & New Zealand (CSSANZ) and is accredited in colonoscopy by the conjoint committee.
Mark consults at the Royal Adelaide Hospital, Adelaide Private on South Terrace, at Summit Health, Mt Barker and the Littlehampton Medical Centre. Mark offers general surgical services, endoscopy and colonoscopy at St Andrew’s Hospital, Mt Barker Hospital and the Royal Adelaide Hospital. Care for patients with more complex surgical problems will be provided at the Royal Adelaide Hospital.
